Welcome to a New Conversation On Mental Health

Where breakthroughs are the new norm, and all challenges are opportunities.  There is a silent pandemic that continues to emerge across the planet.  Right now, over 300 million people are suffering from anxiety and the number is not showing signs of subsiding.  Having suffered from social anxiety much of my life, I am starting a new movement, my own bold mission, to help 1 million teens go from socially anxious to socially confident by 2022.  That movement starts now!

“When looking for someone to speak on mental health to high school students, you need to have someone relatable. We were so excited to have Kyle speak to our students about his experiences with mental health and strategies to cope and overcome during our Bring Change to Mind Summit in 2019. He came prepared, he was interactive with the students and answered their questions thoughtfully and truthfully. Our student feedback on Kyle's keynote was all positive and they really felt empowered to see someone on the other side of high school working through their mental health struggles and thriving and giving back now. I would definitely recommend Kyle to come speak to your student group!”

— Emily Nichols, Regional Program Manager at Bring Change 2 Mind

“Kyle did a great job communicating a sensitive subject with our teens. Clearly, he is very passionate and has developed himself into a true expert regarding helping others overcome social anxiety.”

— Dan Marsden, Founder of Redeem the Dream

“I had the absolute pleasure of attending an in-person talk by Kyle Mitchell on ‘Mental Health Matters’ back in June 2019 where Kyle’s audience was a group of approx. 40 registered nurses. His energy and humor were captivating for all in the room and his passion for the topic and the personal experiences he shared were impressionable, to say the least. I walked away from the discussion wanting to hear more from him. Confident, compassionate, and knowledgeable are all traits that come to mind when I think of Kyle and his presentation. He truly is a top-notch speaker and I hope to get the opportunity to hear him speak again in the future.”

Socially Anxious to TEDx Speaker

When I first started speaking, I made it a goal of mine to have my own TEDx talk. I knew it was a lofty objective and would take some work, but I put it on my vision board anyways.

Three years later, I received a phone call and was invited to speak about teen social anxiety at a TEDx event. I immediately broke down into tears and thought about the transformation I had made over the past 10 years. Not only did I get to speak about the silent pandemic that is teen social anxiety, but I was given the opportunity to show teens that anything is possible…even speaking on the largest speaker platform after struggling with social anxiety and being petrified of public speaking for over a decade.

Please enjoy the video and consider sharing with another teen in your life. It could be the message that turns everything around for them…and for you!
