Who this is for

For boys
(grades 5-8)

This event is built for middle school boys who want to feel more confident, handle stress better, and level up how they think and perform in school, sports, and life.

for parents

what happens at dude project live

Three hours. Real talk. Real tools. Real change.

⚡opening rally + mission build

High-energy kickoff that pulls boys in immediately. Through stories, movement, and the DUDE Code, they define a personal goal and understand what they’re working toward. No awkward icebreakers. No sitting still.

🎯 Mindset Training

Hands-on challenges that train how to stay focused under pressure, trust the right voice, reset when emotions spike, and bounce back after mistakes. Everything is taught through sports, games, and real situations boys actually recognize.

🏆 Level-Up Team Challenges

Fast-paced team challenges where boys apply what they learned in real time. Communication, problem-solving, composure, and leadership are tested. Teams earn XP, but character, effort, and growth matter just as much as winning.

frequently asked questions

Q: Is this for all boys or a select group?

This event is for all middle school boys.

You don’t have to be outgoing, athletic, struggling, or “good at talking.”
Some boys come confident. Some come quiet. Some are somewhere in between.

The activities are designed so every boy can participate, contribute, and grow without being put on the spot or singled out.

Q: Who supervises the event?

The event is led by Kyle Mitchell, founder of The DUDE Project, alongside a trained team of adult volunteers.

All volunteers are there to:

Guide small groups

Keep activities structured and safe

Support boys during challenges and conversations

This is a fully supervised, organized environment from start to finish.

Professional security will also be on-site for the event.

Q: What should boys wear or bring?

Comfortable clothes and sneakers.

Boys will be moving around, participating in team challenges, and working together at tables.
No special gear is needed. All materials are provided.

They don’t need to bring anything except themselves.

Q: Can parents stay and watch?

Parents are welcome to drop off and return for pickup.

To create the best experience for the boys, the event itself is designed as a parent-free space so they can fully engage with their peers and the activities without feeling self-conscious.

If you have specific questions or concerns, you’re always welcome to reach out ahead of time.

Q: What if we register but can’t attend?

We understand that things come up.

If you’re unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.
Depending on timing, we’ll do our best to transfer your registration to another family.

Our goal is to be fair and reasonable while also planning responsibly for the event.
